Lucinda Walker-Mcbean

Lucinda Walker-McBean, 75, of Columbus, GA died Friday April 30, 2021 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Friday May 7, 2021 at Vance Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Road, Columbus, GA. Interment will follow at Green Acres Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5:00-7:00 PM at the funeral home. In keeping with efforts to control the spread of COVID-19, social distancing guidelines will be observed and facemasks will be required.

Lucinda Walker-McBean was born July 14, 1945 in Webster County, GA to the late Clarence Walker and Mary Bell Jordan Walker. She was a member of New Generations Unified Church and worked as a caregiver for many years.

She was survived by daughter, Cynthia Jean Walker (Lois Gebhart) of Dayton, OH, sons, Arthur Jean Walker (Christine) of Long Island, NY and Anthony Darrell Devoes (Jacinta) of Phenix City, AL, sister, Carolyn English (James) of Columbus, GA, brothers, Calvin Walker and Howard Walker both of Columbus, GA, five grandchildren, Chade Walker, Brandon Devoes, Alonzo “AJ” Fluellen, Jr., Arthur “AJ” Joseph Walker, and Jordan Devoes.
