Luke Edward Sprouse

Luke Edward Sprouse, 57, of Columbus, GA passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus.  A graveside service will be held at Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Road, Columbus, GA on Friday, August 31, 2018 beginning at 3:00 p.m. EST with the Reverend Lewis Brown officiating. 

Mr. Sprouse was born July 15, 1961 in Gaffney, SC to Mr. Jack Edward Sprouse and the late Wana Sue Bullard Sprouse.  He was Baptist by faith and enjoyed classical music, writing, reading and studying history.  He also enjoyed old cars and trucks and received joy from working on them.  He formerly worked as an inspector with Cessna Aircrafts.  He also proudly served his country in the United States Navy at the rank of Petty Officer Third Class.

Other than his mother, Mr. Sprouse is predeceased by a brother, Michael Edward Sprouse.

Survivors include two daughters, Susan Walker and husband, Bryant of Waverly Hall, GA and Christian Sprouse of Fortson, GA; three grandchildren:  Camden Walker, Everett Walker and Jameson Walker; and a pet cat, PI. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) at 424 East 92nd Street, New York, NY  10128-6804 or to the Children’s Miracle Network at 205 West 700 South, Salt Lake City, Utah  84101.
