Lynda Sue Johnson

Lynda Sue Johnson, 59, of Columbus, GA passed away on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at the Columbus Hospice House. Funeral services will be held at Vance Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Road, Columbus, GA on Friday, July 23, 2021 beginning at 2:00 PM with Rev. Kevin Zeitlin and Rev. Mark Swift officiating. The interment will conclude at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, July 23, 2021 at Vance Brooks Funeral Home from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM.

Lynda was born on October 29, 1961 in Germany to the late Jack and Ursula Johnson. She was employed as a Meat Clerk at Publix and attended Calvary Chapel. Lynda was looked upon throughout the community as a very kind and generous person. Her sweet smile and genuine concern for others will always be remembered by all whose lives she touched. This special mother, “Omie” and friend has, without a doubt, left her fingerprint on the hearts of those she knew and loved. She will be greatly missed.

Other than her parents, Lynda is preceded in death by her sister, Annamaria Dinnell and brother, Jack Dale Johnson, Jr. Survivors include her daughter, Christy Johnson and son, Levi Holloway, both of Columbus, GA; grandchildren, Anna, Chanele, Lexi, Promise, and Justine – “I love you to the moon and back!” Lynda is also survived by numerous friends.
