Macie Dell Greene

Macie Dell Greene, 84, of Columbus, GA passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at her residence. Graveside services will be held at Parkhill Cemetery on Monday, March 14, 2022 beginning at 3:00 PM with Rev. Mike McBride officiating. The family will receive friends Monday at Vance Brooks Funeral Home in Columbus from 1:30 PM until 2:30 PM, one hour prior to the service.

Macie was born on October 12, 1937 in Coffee County, AL to the late James and Ila Jordan. She was employed for many years at TIC Federal Credit Union where she worked as a banking administrator. Macie was a faithful member of Trinity Assembly of God and an active part of the women’s prayer group. She loved the Lord and was dedicated to living a life of service for Him. Macie’s family was her treasured blessing, and her grandson Jacob was the light of her life. She will always hold a special place in the hearts of so many whose lives she touched and a legacy for her family to carry on.

Other than her parents, Macie is preceded in death by her husband Charles D. Greene and brothers Melvin Jordan and Jerry Jordan. Survivors include her sons David Greene and Keith Greene (Patti) of Columbus, GA; sister Pat Hastings of Vine Grove, KY; brother Kenneth Jordan (Diana) of Lakeland, FL; grandson Jacob Greene; and numerous nieces and nephews.
