Maggie Joann Crumbley

Maggie Joann Lunsford Crumbley, 85, of Columbus, GA died at her residence on Thursday, February 25, 2021 with her family by her side.
Graveside Services will be held at 11AM (EST) on Monday, March 01, 2021 at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery according to Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL with Rev. Lynn Meadows-White officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 2:00 – 4:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Crumbley was born July 07, 1935 in Union Grove, NC daughter of the late Jarvis Lunsford and Pell Jarvis Lunsford. She was employed as a Nursing Assistant with Statesville Memorial for many years. Mrs. Crumbley was a long-time member of Pine Grove Baptist Church in Phenix City, AL serving in several ministries. She enjoyed singing, playing the piano and guitar and gardening. Her family was her highest priority in life, especially the grandchildren. She will be missed in our daily routine, but her lasting memories will always be in our hearts.
Mrs. Crumbley was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Hoyt Crumbley, two brothers and seven sisters.
Survivors include her two children, Teresa Crumbley, Columbus, GA and Bryon Crumbley, Salem, AL; two grandchildren, Bryon Lee Crumbley and Laura Holmes; five great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and friends also survive.
