Mrs. Margaret Taylor Clark

Margaret Taylor Clark, 83 of Phenix City, Alabama, walked into the gates of Heaven on Friday, October 7, 2022, at Northside Hospital in Cumming, Georgia, with her loving family by her side.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM EST, on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, in the Chapel of Vance Brooks Funeral Home, with Rev. Ronnie Chaney officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service (1-2pm) at the funeral home.

Mrs. Clark was born in Opp, Alabama, the daughter of the late Coston Dalton Taylor and Mary Alice Sexton Taylor. She was a very active person and enjoyed staying busy. Mrs. Clark was a family person and enjoyed the time she got to spend with her children and especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed going to the beach, reading the Holy Bible and cooking. Another of Mrs. Clark’s favorite hobbies was watching black and white western movies, especially those starring James Arness, John Wayne or other “tall” men. For thirty years, she worked with the Civil Service at Ft. Benning, GA a career which she was very proud of. Mrs. Clark loved the Lord and served him faithfully at Whiterock Assembly of God Church until her health would not allow her to attend.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by her husband Ladon Clark and son Gregory Ladon Clark.

Those left to cherish the memory of Mrs. Clark is her daughter Vicki Suzanne Sansom and her husband Michael of Sugar Hill, GA; sister Jennifer Milam Yates and husband David of Columbus, GA; grandchildren Erica Carden (Austin), Mary Ann Averett (Chance), Michael Anthony Sansom (Keri Anne), David Clark (Amy) and Brandy Clark Hall (Quinn); many great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and extended family.
