Margaret L. Adams

Margaret L. Adams, 93, of Phenix City, AL passed away peacefully Tuesday, November 21, 2017.

A graveside service will be held 10:00 EST Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Lakeview Memory Gardens with Rev. Charles Keown officiating.

Mrs. Adams was born September 17, 1924 in Dale County, AL to the late Thomas and Annie Mae Curry. She graduated from Midland City High School in 1942 before getting married and starting her family. Jobs at The Kiddie Shoppe and Phenix National Bank eventually gave way to caring for grandbabies. A member of Lakewood Baptist Church she was past member of Sweet Spirits, the Tulip Garden Club, the Amen Choir and WMU.

Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Carl Adams; son, Jeff Adams; brothers, Arvell Curry and Roy Curry; sisters, Justine Bridges and Katie Cherry.

She is survived by her son, Steven Adams of Palm Desert, CA; daughter-in-law, Jeanne Adams of Phenix City, AL; grandsons, Jay Adams and Katina of Phenix City, AL and Jon Adams and Shelli of Birmingham, MI; 8 great-grandchildren, Sam, Maggie, Jack, Allie, Jon Harris, Charlie, Annie and Parker Adams; several nieces, nephews and other extended family members and loving friends. The family also thanks the employees and staff at Phenix City Health Care for the love they gave her the last six years.
