Margie Mccullar Wilson

Margie McCullar Wilson, 90, formerly of Columbus passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family in Braselton, Georgia. The family will receive friends Friday, November 27, 2015 from 6-8 P.M. EST at Vance-Brooks Funeral Home 4048 Macon Road Columbus, Georgia 31907. A funeral service will be held Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. EST at Vance-Brooks Funeral Home.
Margie McCullar Wilson was born April 1, 1925 to the late Elvin D. Thompson and Mamie Gray Thompson in Griffin, Georgia. Other than her parents Mrs. Wilson is preceded in death by her husbands Newton H. McCullar Jr. and John Wilson, grandson Lee Allen Blount and granddaughter Jennifer Baker Blair.
 Mrs. Wilson is survived by son Newton D. McCullar  two daughters Pamelia McCullar Reese, Theresa McCullar Nix, three grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Mrs. Wilson was the former owner of McCullar's Hi-Fashions Beauty Salon and a longtime member of the Order of The Eastern Star Lodge number 261. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend and will be forever missed.
