Marie Folds Pennington

Marie Folds Pennington, 75, of Phenix City, AL died comfortably in her home on Sunday, April 11, 2021.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM (EST) on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery according to Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00PM (EST) at the funeral home.
Mrs. Pennington was born August 22, 1945 in Dale County, AL daughter of the late Zack Henry Folds and Nell Wilkinson Folds. She was a former BookKeeper/Tax Preparer owning her own business. Nana loved banana splits from Country’s, late night shopping, walking under the stars, gardening, getting her nails done, antiques and jewelry, and sitting on the porch with the family dog, Paisley.
She was committed to her family and always made them top priority, especially the grandchildren. We will always cherish her memories and happy times in our hearts.
Survivors included her husband of 54 years, Charles Pennington, Phenix City, AL; son, Charles “Chuck” Pennington (Samantha Brown), Smiths Station, AL; one brother, Glen Folds (Sherie), Opelika, AL; four grandchildren, Haley Pennington, Chase Pennington, Anna Pennington and Sarah Pennington; several nieces, nephews and friends also survive.
