Marshall Cole Woods, 19, of Phenix City, AL passed away Thursday afternoon, October 31, 2024, in Phenix City, AL

Marshall was born December 17, 2004, in Columbus, GA to Crystal Dawn (Wonder) Woods and Marshall Dale Woods, Jr. He was a graduate of Russell County High School and was recently employed with Atchley Steel in Salem, AL as an apprentice welder. Known as a gentle giant, he had a quiet, straightforward personality. He was someone his friends trusted to listen when they needed an ear. He was planning to attend CVCC next fall and was excited about his future and learning his new trade at his workplace. He enjoyed gaming with his friends, watching Anime, and reading Manga and Light Novels. He was a Christian by faith.

He is survived on his mother’s side by his mother, Crystal Woods and his step-father, Duane Bodie; his sisters, Raven Leininger (Fiancé Jamie Williams) and Trisha Woods; his maternal grandparents, Denny and April Wonder; Aunt and Uncle, Heather and Aaron Zeld and cousins, Nakita Noorali, Ana Zeld, and Leah Zeld.

On his father’s side by his father, Marshall Woods, Jr. and step-mother Sara Lamp; paternal grandfather, Marshall Woods, Sr. and sister, Abby Woods. 

Private memorial services are to be held at a later time by his loving and devoted family.
