Martha Inez Grayson

Martha Inez Grayson, 72, of Thomasville, GA passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at her residence. A graveside service will be held at Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Road, Columbus, GA on Saturday, July 25, 2020 beginning at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Vance Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Road, Columbus, GA from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, one hour prior to the service.

Martha was born on September 12, 1947 in Columbus, GA to the late James Thomas “Tom” Haggin and Alice Inez Haggin. She retired from the Palm Beach County Fire Rescue where she worked as Secretary to the Fire Chief. Martha was a faithful member of Trinity Baptist Church in Thomasville and also enjoyed being part of the Red Hatters. She was a caring mother and grandmother who, without a doubt, loved her family with all her heart. Martha will be greatly missed but her memory will always be cherished by those who were blessed to have her in their lives.

Other than her parents, Martha is preceded in death by her brother, Charles Thomas Haggin. Survivors include her daughter, Melissa Jacobs (Robert) of Thomasville, GA; son, Jeff Grayson (Sheree Puckett) of Walker, LA; grandchildren, Chasity Jacobs and Bailey Puckett.
