Martha Ogle

Martha Rose Ogle, 96, of Columbus, GA. passed away peacefully at Gentiva Hospice, October 4, 2015. A funeral service will be held Friday, October 9, 2015 beginning at 1:00 P.M. EST at Vance-Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Rd. Columbus, GA. Interment will conclude at Riverdale Cemetery. Reverend Greg Garner will be officiating services.  The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. EST. at the funeral Home.

Martha Rose Ogle was born September 4, 1919 in Columbus, GA. In her free time Martha enjoyed reading, and traveling. Her favorite place to travel was Biloxi, MS, where she enjoyed playing slot machines. Martha will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and caring friend.

She is preceded in death by her parents; former husband Elbert Lee Ogle, SR; and brother, Walter George Barbee.

Survivors include, two sons, Elbert Lee Ogle, Jr. of Brewton, AL, Randy Ogle, SR; Randy Ogle Sr. and daughter in law JoeAnn, of Columbus, GA; grandchildren, Shane, Tiffany, and Shannon Smith, Patricia, Jennifer, Christopher, Randy JR, Conner and Monica Ogle and Michale Aguilar; great grandchildren, Matthew and Jeremiah Marion, Mallorie and Luke Devitt, Peyton Smith, Jeana and Jessica Davis, Bailey Hahn, Alexis Henderson, Joshua, Sarah and Kaelynn Garner; Martha also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, and many caring friends.
