Marty Brewer

Marty Brewer, age 54, resident of Ellerslie, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, July 15,2023 at Piedmont Midtown Medical Center Columbus.  Private services are being held.

Marty was born in Columbus, Georgia.  He was a painter by trade and owned his own painting company.  He was Baptist by faith and attended Mountain Shadow Church.  Marty was an outdoorsman.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and connecting with nature and animals.  Marty had a great sense of humor and always looked forward to traveling to Florida for deep sea fishing with his buddies.  The family remembers him as a man with a genuine spirit, always going out of his way to help someone.

Marty was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Kay Brewer; maternal grandmother, Gladys Vinson; one aunt; and five uncles.  He is survived by two daughters, Ashley Lewis and Haley Brewer; one sister, Jessica Stipe and her husband Deon; one brother, Rodney Pope and his wife Katherine; a host of nieces and nephews; other relatives; his close friend, Eddie Hickman; and many other friends.
