Mary A. Certa Wolfe

Mary A. Certa Wolfe, 85, of Phenix City, AL died at St. Francis Hospital, Columbus, GA on Monday, December 21, 2020.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date according to Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL.
Mrs. Wolfe was born July 26, 1935 in New York, NY daughter of the late Joseph Michael Certa and Isabella Anne Angerame Certa. She was a single mom for many years; however, she was a positive role model for her family. Mrs. Wolfe was the former Treasurer of American Legion Post 135 in Phenix City, AL. She loved the beach and swimming with her girls, playing Bingo and Gin Rummy. We will remember her love of red lipstick, great smile, eating out, and being helpful to those around her. She will always be in our hearts and memories.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, William E. Meyers and Guy E. Wolfe.
Survivors include her four daughters, Wanda Robinson, OK, Isabella Discepolo (Ken), FL, Mary Ann Gobert (Michael), GA and Dorene Bataille, FL; one brother, P. Joseph Certa (Connie), N.J.; Fourteen grandchildren, Stephanie Discepolo, Skii Meyers, Mandy Wolfe, Stephen Hutchinson, Judy Robinson, Nicole Carroll, C. Sean Carroll, Destini Williams, Kala Brooks, Tia Kelley, Heaven Bataille, Leo Bataille, Spencer Bataille, Emma Bataille; Eighteen great-grandchildren plus one more on the way; Nephew Joseph Certa, Niece Natalia Santiago; friends, Annie, Terry, Becky, Ronnie and Rudy; pet companion, Baby Bella, along with friends survive.
