Mary Alice Litz

Mary Alice Litz, 94, of Phenix City, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, under the care of Columbus Hospice.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, EST on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Vance Memorial Chapel in Phenix City. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens in Phenix City.

Mrs. Litz was born January 25, 1922 in Phenix City, Alabama to the late Earnest Robinson and Ava Robinson (Chafin). She enjoyed gardening, flowers, and sewing. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Floyd Ferris Litz and her siblings Joseph Robinson, Louise Mullins (Robinson), E.W. Robinson.

She is survived by her son Larry E. Litz and daughter-in-law Geraldine of Columbus, Georgia and her son Ronald M. Litz of Eatonton, Georgia, granddaughter Heather Litz Kelly (Tim) of Eatonton, Georgia, grandsons Derrek Litz (Tina) of Monticello, Georgia, Jason S. Litz (Stefanie) of Columbus, GA, and Eric S. Litz (Stephanie) of Midland, GA, eight great-granddaughters, and one great-grandson.
