Mrs. Knupp was born November 20, 1947, in Columbus, GA daughter of the late Jim Tom Nolen and Mary Louise Toole Nolen. She was a Librarian with the Russell County/Phenix City Library for many years. As an avid reader this was a dream job for her. Mrs. Knupp was also a talented painter. She especially loved to paint light houses and landscapes. Mrs. Knupp would often paint something special and gift it to family and friends. She has left a lasting legacy of beautiful paintings in our home to enjoy and remember her by. Mrs. Knupp enjoyed working in her flower garden. She would spend hours weeding and pruning and just enjoying her hard work. She was richly rewarded with colorful and vibrant blooms surrounding her. Mrs. Knupp was also a member of the Summerville United Methodist Church where she enjoyed fellowship and worship. While she is no longer in our daily routine, she is always in our hearts.
