Mary “Ann” Robinson, 74, of Phenix City, AL passed away peacefully early Saturday morning, June 11, 2016 in the comfort of her home while surrounded by her loving family.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm EDT Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at Summerville Baptist Church with Pastor Robert Goodman, Rev. Mark Williams, and Dr. David White officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends this evening (Monday) from 6:00 to 8:00 pm EDT at Vance Memorial Chapel in Phenix City. Serving as pallbearers are Greg Culpepper, Ben McGarr, Derrell Thrower, Tim Bryant, Donnie Ziebol, and George Cain, serving as honorary pallbearers are the Deacons of Summerville Baptist Church.
Mrs. Robinson was born October 23, 1941 in Columbus, GA to the late Henry Rolling and Kate Pelham Rolling. She was retired from the Russell County Court House with 25 years of service. She was a dedicated member of Summerville Baptist Church. She had a passion for Braves baseball, was an avid Crimson Tide fan, loved spending quality time with her granddaughters, and loved her church and church family. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Steve Robinson, and a brother, Phillip Rolling.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 57 years, Cecil Robinson, daughter, Cindy Robinson Massey and husband Steve, daughter-in-law, Becky Robinson, sister, Patricia McDowell, two granddaughters, Sarah Robinson, and Katie Robinson, several nieces, nephews, extended family, church family, and many caring friends.
