Mary Anne Williamson Bailey

Mary Anne Williamson Bailey, 82, formerly of Phenix City, Alabama, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at the home of her daughter in Jacksonville, Florida.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 am EST on Friday, May 22, 2020 in the Chapel of Vance Brooks Funeral Home located at 3738 U.S .Highway 431 North Phenix City, Alabama, with Rev. Wayne Williams officiating. A private interment will be at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Bailey was born in Clayton, AL to the late Willie Martin Williamson and Maggie Price Williamson. She was a homemaker most all her life, cherishing the care of family above all else. Mrs. Bailey was a member of Fort Caroline Baptist Church being very involved in the Sonshine Sunday School Class. Prior to moving to Jacksonville, FL, Mrs. Bailey was a member of Seale Road Baptist Church Phenix City, AL from 1955-2018.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bailey was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Robert Dwight Bailey, Sr., four brothers, two sisters and her grandson Steven Bailey.

Mrs. Bailey is survived by three daughters Barbara Woodall (Bobby) of Phenix City, AL, Susan Bailey of Jacksonville, FL and Elizabeth Williams (Gary) of Crawford, AL; one son Robert Dwight Bailey, Jr of Crawford, AL; nine grandchildren Nicholas Woodall, Bryan Woodall, Todd Woodall, Joshua Wood, Nicole Miller, Gianluca Bailey, Michael Taber, Hannah Calloway and Amber Williams; thirteen great grandchildren Kennedy Woodall, Zayne Woodall, Emory Woodall, Kyler Woodall, Payson Wilhelm, Austin Wood, Gabe Greene, Dylan Greene, Wyatt Miller, Chloe Taber, Elijah Taber, Riley Taber and Flynn Taber.
