Mary L. Duhon, 90, of Phenix City, Alabama entered her heavenly home on September 19, 2024, after being with her family. Mary was born on August 14, 1934, to the late Eula and John Ledbetter in Shawmut, Al. She enjoyed square dancing, fishing, and playing her favorite card game, canasta. Mary loved to travel to Biloxi and Florida, and especially loved spending time at the casino. Mary was a loving, fun, and kind woman. Mary attended White Rock Freewill Baptist Church for many years and the church lived in her heart throughout her life. Later in life, she attended River of Life Church. Mary will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.
Mary L. Duhon is survived by her daughters, Pam Lee (George) of Destin, Fl, Miriam Stewart (Josef) of Columbus, Ga, and Sharon Tyner (Lamar) of Phenix City, Al; grandchildren, Angel Groves (Gary), Travis Tyner (Maura), Josef Stewart Jr. (Michelle), Christina Russell, and George Lee Jr. (Tina); eleven great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and many extended family and dear friends.
Mary L. Duhon is preceded in death by her parents, Eula and John Ledbetter; sister, Colleen Little; and brother, Bubba Ledbetter.
A visitation will be held at Vance Brooks Funeral Home, 3738 Hwy 431 N, Phenix City, Al 36867, on Monday, September 23, 2024, at 11:00am followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00 pm and concluding with a committal service at Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
