Mary Frances Phillips Hall, 92 of Phenix City, AL passed away early Sunday morning on September 7, 2014 in the comfort of her home in Phenix City. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm EDT Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at Vance Memorial Chapel in Phenix City with Rev. Marvin Minton officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery and the family will receive friends this evening (Tuesday) from 6:00 to 8:00 pm EDT at the funeral home. Mrs. Hall was born December 25, 1921 in Gasden County, FL to Dempsey Phillips and Alice Faircloth Phillips. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved her family deeply, every time someone was greeted, it was always with a hug and a kiss. She enjoyed reading and studying her Bible and loved spending time working crossword puzzles. She was a faithful member of Crawford Road Baptist Church in Phenix City. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by ten brothers and sisters. Mrs. Hall is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Rev. David S. Hall of Phenix City, AL, daughter, Linda L. Frander of Phenix City, AL, son, David Michael “Mike” Hall and wife Gail of Smiths Station, AL Six grandchildren, Angie Smith (Tim), Jason Hall (Beth), Rob Bankston (Bobbie), Jon Bankston (Angela), Shane Poole (Jenna) and Shannon Poole (Laura) (12) Great grandchildren, Garrett, Hunter, Parker, Katie, Ryan, Ben, Eli, Cody, Stone, Wesley, Karlie and Lexi, numerous other family members, church family and many caring friends.
