Mary George Hall

Mary George Hall,80, of Columbus, Georgia passed away Monday, June 05, 2017 at Columbus Hospice House. A funeral service will be held Friday, June 09, 2017 beginning at 1:00 P.M. EST, at Vance-Brooks Funeral Home 4048 Macon Road Columbus, Georgia 31907 with Chaplain Daniel Mitchell officiating.  The interment will conclude the service at Main Post Cemetery, Fort Benning, Georgia.  The family will receive friends Thursday, June 08, 2017 at Vance-Brooks Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 P.M. EST.

Mary was born May 4, 1937 in Lebanon, Tennessee to the late John and Tina Mathes.  Mary was a member of Edgewood Church of Christ.

Other than her parents, Mary is predeceased by her husband of 55 years Ernest Nollie Hall, as well as 13 brothers and sisters.

Survivors include: two daughters; Patricia Lei and husband Jeffery of Newnan Georgia, Karen Comer of Columbus, Ohio. One son; Joseph Wayne Hall of Columbus, Georgia. One brother; Clyde Mathes and wife Patricia of Lebanon, Tennessee.  Mary is also survived by four grandchildren; Nathan Lei and wife Courtney of Ft. Stewart, Georgia. Daniel Bross JR and wife Justeen of Columbus, Ohio.  Hayley Comer and husband Marcus of Columbus, Ohio.  Emily Comer and husband Jamie of Columbus, Ohio. Eight great grandchildren, Jett Kayden Lei, Aiden Anthony Bross, Noah Alexander Bross, Aryelle Jayana Nelms. Marcus Aaron Triplet, Jonathan Garcia, Allison Garcia and Mallori Evelyn Triplet.

Mary was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend and will be forever be missed.
