Mary Lucille Morris

Mary Lucille Morris, 87, of Phenix City, AL, passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2015, at Muscogee Manor in Columbus, GA.

A funeral service will be held Friday, August 28, 2015 at 2:00pm at Vance Memorial Chapel with Rev. Alan Griffith officiating. The family will receive friends before the service from 1 until 2 and the burial will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens.

Mrs. Morris was born on April 3, 1928, in Pike County, Al, the daughter of the late Earnest Barron and Myrtis Leila Jinright Davis. She retired from Tom’s Food and was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Coy D. Morris and sister, Frances Beasley.

She is survived by nieces, Theresa “Theri” Brooks, Penny Beasley(Mark); great-nieces, Brandy Hardee(Robert), Jaime Dyer(Jason), Lori Selby(Travis); great-nephews, Jason Streetman(Jessica), Billy Allen, Dennis Beasley(Karlee), Nick Beasley; other extended family and many caring friends.

The family thanks Columbus Hospice and Magnolia Manor for their care of Mrs. Morris.
