Mary Elizabeth Mealy, 93, of Phenix City, AL passed away early Sunday morning, June 16, 2024, at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, GA.
Mrs. Mealy was born April 22, 1931, in Columbus, GA, daughter of the late Charlie James Robinson, Sr. and Flora Rushing Robinson. She served as a Coordinator for Rockwell International in California for 30 years of loyal service making an impact in people and product excellence, involving all relationships with Rockwell Internation and operations. She was a Shrinette and a former member of the Eastern Star. She took joy as a private pilot, loved engaging in all church activities, and was a Christian and a member of Smiths Station Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Blane Mealy, Sr.; two brothers, Thomas David Robinson, and Charlie “James” Robinson, Jr., and a son, Michael Perry McCluskey.
She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Teno and fiancé, Craig Moore; two grandchildren, Scott McClelland (Mandy), and Aaron McCluskey (Amber); three precious great-grandchildren, Sophie McClelland, Luke McCluskey, and Allie McCluskey; other loving family members, church family, and many caring friends.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am EDT on Friday, July 12, 2024, at Smiths Station Baptist Church with Dr. David Kees officiating. A private burial will take place in a special place of remembrance by her loving family.
In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions to the Smiths station Baptist Church Building Fund in memory of Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Mealy.
