Mrs. Mary B. Threlkeld

Mrs. Mary B. Threlkeld, 82, of Phenix City, AL passed away Friday, January 8, 2021 at her home.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm (EST) on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Lakeview Memory Gardens with Rev. Woody Brown officiating.  The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 am, one hour prior to the service, at Vance Brooks Funeral Home in Phenix City, AL.

Mrs. Threlkeld was born April 18, 1938 in Clio, AL, daughter of the late Luker Wilkerson and Desser Phillips Wilkerson.  She retired from the textile industry, having worked for both Fieldcrest Mills and later Cannon Pillowtex.  Mrs. Threlkeld enjoyed puzzles, spending time at the Phenix City Activities Center and spending time with her family.  She was a member of North Phenix Baptist Church.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Threlkeld; four brothers and one sister; two grandchildren, Lacie Atkins and Ethan Harrison.

She is survived by two daughters, Susan Burt and Linda Threlkeld, both of Phenix City, AL; two sons, Clinton Threlkeld and Byron Threlkeld and wife Michele, all of Phenix City, AL; three sisters, Lorice Doster, Jaquita Childree and Miriam Brown and husband Woody; one brother, Milton Wilkerson and wife Betty Ann; ten grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; several other extended family and friends.
