Mary Webb Vanderford, 95, of Phenix City, AL, formerly of Auburndale, FL died at Phenix City Health Care on Monday, July 05, 2021.
A Service of Remembrance will be held at 4 p.m. Eastern on Sunday, July 11, 2021 at Pierce Chapel Assembly of God, Phenix City, AL with Rev. Boyd Cochran officiating according to Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL.
Mrs. Vanderford was born April 03, 1926 in Lakeland, FL daughter of the late Burton and Johnnie Webb. She had retired from Bartow Regional Medical Center after many dedicated years as a Medical Records Clerk. Mrs. Vanderford attended Pierce Chapel Assembly of God where she enjoyed fellowshipping and ministry. She loved visiting the many State Parks in Florida and Arkansas with her family and friends. The loves of her life were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She has left a legacy for us and future generations to model.
Mrs. Vanderford was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert L. Vanderford; a sister, Mabel Handley and a son, Stephen Lane Vanderford.
Survivors include her two sons, Gerald L. Vanderford (Mary), Tampa, FL, and Joseph A. Vanderford, Sr. (Karen), Phenix City, AL; three grandchildren, Vickie Vanderford, Tampa, FL, Shannon Kay (Michael), Smiths Station, AL, and Allen Vanderford (Maureen), Phenix City, AL; 8 great-grandchildren, several other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in her memory to the Pierce Chapel Missions Fund.
