Mavis Geraldine Kilcrease

Mavis Geraldine Wicker Kilcrease, 85, of Phenix City, AL passed away on Thursday November 2, 2017 at Parkwood Healthcare in Phenix City, AL.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Monday, November 6, 2017 at Golden Acres Baptist Church with Dr. Ray Cummings and Rev. Roosevelt Oakes officiating.  Interment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Kilcrease was born November 29, 1931 in Brantley, AL to the late Morris Wicker and Rosie Tidwell Wicker.  She retired from Fieldcrest Mills with many years of dedicated service.  She loved spending quality time with her family, especially all the holidays.  She was a lady full of joy, laughter, and pride.  She enjoyed traveling, and seeing all the beautiful places that our God has made.  She loved fellowship and was a member of Golden Acres Baptist Church in Phenix City, AL.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Gracie Kilcrease, and a brother, Clyde Wicker.

She is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 68 years, Wilbur Ray Kilcrease, three children, Merita Norris and husband Bill, Tim Kilcrease and Jerry Kilcrease and wife Donna, all of Phenix City, AL; nine grandchildren, Beth Hedges (Gabe), Amanda Owens (Heath), Aimee Kilcrease, Adam Kilcrease (Emily), Jeremy Silva (Cathrein), Andrew Kilcrease (Kerrie), Nathan Kilcrease, Rachel Marks (Derek), Tina Green; nine great-grandchildren, Allie Hedges, Harrison Hedges, Corbin Owens, Kennedy Owens, Bryce Sanders, Adalyn Kilcrease, Corina Silva, Oliva Silva, and Charlotte Marks; numerous extended family members, church family, and many caring friends.
