Michael Dean Livingston

“Big Mike” Livingston, 37, of Salem, AL, passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2016, at Midtown Medical Center.

A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 pm EST, on Monday, September 19, 2016, at Vance Memorial Chapel. The family will receive friends an hour before the service at the funeral home.

Big Mike was born on September 25, 1978, in Quincy, IL. He worked as a general contractor in the pool construction business for the surrounding area. Big Mike was a Son, a Father, a Brother, an Uncle, and a great friend to all that knew him. He loved his family and loved to spend time with his children.  He was an avid collector of horror movies and scary action figures. Mike loved to have cookouts and playing with the kids in the pool who commonly used him as the human diving board. He was a very simple person that loved to have fun!  If you knew him you loved him because he was always making people smile and laugh. We will cherish his legacy through his 3 children who love and miss him dearly. Big Mike will be missed but not forgotten!

He is survived by his father, Dean Livingston, wife Ginny; mother, Barbara Jean Ridgeway Livingston; 2 siblings, Cory Livingston and wife Berta, and Nicole Livingston; girlfriend, Jade Boswell; 3 children, Samantha Livingston, Colin Livingston and Alexis Livingston; several nieces and nephews; extended family members and many caring friends.
