Michael Ray Grantham

Michael Ray Grantham, 67, of Seale, AL, passed away on April 9, 2025. Private services will be held at a later date. 

Michael was born on May 2, 1957, in Columbus, GA, to the late James Edward Grantham and Shirley Ruth Hatcher. After graduating from high school, Michael became a skilled painter. He worked with numerous organizations and truly enjoyed being a part of Paul Davis Painting Inc. Michael always worked hard to provide for his family. He was a devoted and caring husband to his wife of over 30 years, Glenda Grantham, until her passing in 2015. He was also a loving and supportive father, grandfather, and sibling. Michael’s family was most important to him, and he loved them dearly. He was a simple man who loved the simple life. In his spare time Michael loved to fish and work on cars with his friends. He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.

Michael is preceded in death by his wife, Glenda Grantham; parents, James Edward Grantham and Shirley Ruth Hatcher; and sisters, Katrina Holler and Rose Marie Wilcurt.

Michael is survived by his daughter, Niki Allen (Chuck); sisters, Skyla Grantham, Rheba Gibson, and Tammy Jackson (Allen); brothers, Tony Grantham, and James “Jimmy” Grantham; grandchildren, Michael Grantham (Amanda), and Dillon Heath; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
