Michael Lee Patterson

Michael Lee Patterson, 72, of Phenix City, AL died at his residence with his family near his side.

Funeral services with Navy Honors will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 in the Chapel of Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL. A private entombment will follow in Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Patterson was born November 29, 1947 in Columbus, GA son of the late Homer Lee Patterson and Martha Melba Patterson. He was a U. S. Navy veteran serving three tours in Viet Nam. Suring his military career, he was trained at a “FROG” man, now known as SEALS. Mr. Patterson was a man of many skills and talents using them all to provide for his beloved family. His family was his life and most precious treasure. We will always miss him in our daily routine, but his memories will be forever cherished in our hearts.

Survivors include his wife of over 46 years, Cherry Arnette Patterson, Phenix City, AL; two children, Michael Shawn Patterson and Kimberly Dawn Patterson, both of Phenix City, AL; four grandchildren, Dijon Ian Patterson, Zachary Rogers, Krista Rogers and Wyatt Eberhart; three great-grandchildren, Charlotte Indigo Patterson, Lilith Ivy Jasper and Miyah Loumara Brown; several other family members and friends also survive.
