Michael “Mike” Harold Keltner

Mike Keltner, 59, of Columbus, GA passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at St. Francis Hospital.  A funeral service will be held at Greater Life Baptist Church, 305 Old Grey Rock Rd, Midland, GA on Monday, December 28, 2020 beginning at 1:00 pm with Pastor Jerry Knight officiating.  The interment will conclude at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, December 27, 2020 at Vance Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm.

Mike was born on March 15, 1961 in Corinth, MS to the late William and Peggy Keltner. He retired from Health at Home after a long and successful career as District Manager. Throughout his life, Mike had a passion for sports. He played football at UT Martin and, after his college years, always enjoyed a round of golf with family and friends.  Mike was Baptist by faith and a former Mason.

Mike was, without a doubt, a dedicated and loving family man. He will be greatly missed by his wife, children, grandchildren, siblings, and friends, but he will always be remembered with the fondest of memories.

Other than his parents, Mike is preceded in death by his brother, Jim Keltner.

Survivors include his loving and devoted wife, Polly Graham Keltner; daughter, Ashley Mead (Chris) of Columbus, GA; sons, David Rhodes and Paul Rhodes (Nichole), both of Columbus, GA; sister, Susie Critser (Sam) of Little Rock, AR; brothers, Bo Keltner (Bonita) of Franklin, TN and Rick Keltner (Susan) of Memphis, TN; grandchildren, Blakely Mead, Ashton Mead, Skyler Mead, and Ethan Rhodes.
