Michael Moore

Michael Moore, 75, of Phenix City, AL died peacefully on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00AM (EST) on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 in the Chapel of Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL with Rev. Jeremy Johnson officiating. Interment with U. S. Airforce honors will follow in Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00AM until the funeral hour on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Moore was born July 21, 1949, in Opp, AL son of the late Andrew Moore and Betty Middleton Moore. He was a U. S. Air Force Veteran, and he also served in the U. S. Navy Reserves. Mr. Moore had retired from Ft. Benning as a Management Analyst. He was an avid fisherman. When he was not fishing, he enjoyed Dirt Track and NASCAR racing. When fall came around he switched to Alabama Football. Mr. Moore also attended Golden Acres Baptist Church where he enjoyed worship and fellowship.

We will remember him as a devoted husband, dad and Papa. Survivors include his wife, Amy Rhodes Moore, Phenix City, AL; brother, Andy Moore (Sheila), Gulfport, MS; five children, Robert Brunel (Melanie), Douglas, GA, Shane Moore (Stephanie), Salem, AL, Andrea Willett (Chad), Altoona, AL, Tye Carroll (Daleigh), Ft. Mitchell, AL and Ryan Carroll (Kristen), Phenix City, AL; eleven grandchildren, McKenzie, Carsen, Kaylee, Gracie, Trevor, Ellie, Rylee, Mackenna, Emilee, Wyatt and Weston; one great-granddaughter, Maeleigh Rae; his favorite buddy, “Little Bit”; numerous other family members and friends.

Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made in his memory to the charity of your choice.
