Michael . S Britton

Michael S. Britton, 65, of Smiths, AL passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at the Columbus Hospice House.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Friday, February 24, 2017 at Vance Memorial Chapel in Phenix City. The family will receive friends from 10:30 until 11:00 before the service.

Mr. Britton was born July 5, 1951 in Columbus, GA to the late James Henry Britton and Alice Mae Price Britton. He loved hunting, fishing, baseball, football and sports in general. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law Lyle Wilcox.

He is survived by his loving wife, Ethel Britton: daughter, Darlene R. Britton; son, James M. Britton and wife Letisha; sister, June Wilcox; brother, J. Wayne Britton; grandchildren, Colton M. Britton, Carson R. Taylor, Cayden K. Hurst, Spencer C. Fiorello, Kylee R. Hurst and Hudson L. Fiorello; and a host of other loving family members and many caring friends.
