Milessa Smith

Milessa Hudson Smith, 66, of Phenix City, AL, passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at her home.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am EST, on Saturday, November 18, 2017, at Vance Memorial Chapel with Rev. Junior White and Rev. David Kees officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 pm EST at the funeral home.

Mrs. Smith was born on June 16, 1951 in Phenix City, AL daughter of Thelma Marie Watson Hudson and the late Joseph Earl Hudson.  She was a caring wife, mother, Mimi, aunt and friend.  Additionally, Mrs. Smith was a long time member of Woodland Baptist Church.

Other than her mother, she is survived by her loving husband of  47 years, David J. Smith of Phenix City, AL; two daughters, Michele Campbell and husband Alan of Columbus, GA and Holli S. Frost of Phenix City, AL; one sister, Wanda Hinson and husband Jeff of Salem, AL; three brothers, Earl Hudson and wife Kelly of Salem, AL, Ricky Hudson and wife Lynn of Smiths Station, AL and Clint Hudson and wife Pam of LaFayette, LA; grandchildren, Preston, Maddie, Hudson and Miles; several nieces, nephews and many other extended family and friends.
