Milton Jackson Brown, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2025, at the Columbus Hospice House, surrounded by his loving family. A visitation to honor Milton’s life will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday March 27, 2025 at Vance Brooks Funeral Home Columbus 4048 Macon Rd. Columbus, Georgia 31907.

Milton's life was characterized by his dedication to hard work and family. He began his journey in various factories during his younger years, showcasing a strong work ethic that would serve him throughout his life. His talents soon led him to become a mechanic, a profession that he approached with the same level of devotion and commitment he exhibited in all areas of his life. He worked diligently until his well-earned retirement, relishing every moment spent alongside his beloved wife and children.

A strong Christian, Milton was known for his unwavering faith and the kindness that flowed from it. He had a remarkable ability to connect with others, and his warm smile could light up any room. He was a jack of all trades, always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His family and friends alike admired him for the strength he exhibited both in his moral convictions and his ability to provide love and support to those around him.

Milton is survived by his devoted wife of 33 years, Rose Brown, whose love for him was profound and steadfast. He leaves behind a legacy of love through his daughter, Audrey Lucille Meares, and his sons: Danny Brown (Samantha), Milton Brown Jr., and David Brown. He was a proud grandfather to Dylan Brown, Alex Brown (Becca), Stormy Davis, Charles Christopher Clay (Elizabeth), and Sebastian Clay. Additionally, he will always be remembered fondly by his six great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to his later years.

Milton was predeceased by his parents, Walter Brown and Willa Lucille Woodham, and his son, Daniel Eugene Brown, and by his sisters, Edna Sue Brady and Janie Lou Wright.

As we remember Milton Jackson Brown, we celebrate the incredible life he lived, the unwavering love he gave, and the bright legacy he leaves behind.
