Minnie Louise Ferguson

Minnie Louise Ferguson, 88 of Phenix City, AL passed away Saturday, September 13, 2014 surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be held 12:00 pm EDT Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at Vance Memorial Chapel in Phenix City with Rev. Gary Walker officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery at 2:30 and the family will receive friends this evening (Monday) from 6:00 to 8:00 pm EDT at the funeral home. Mrs. Ferguson was born May 19, 1926 in Taylor County, GA to the late Clyde and Mamie Lloyd. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was a wonderful cook and enjoyed caring for her family. She was also a long time member of Philadelphia Baptist Church. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, James Lee Lloyd and Jackie King. Mrs. Ferguson is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Cecil Ferguson; children, Cecil Earl Ferguson wife Jo Ann, Ronald Wayne Ferguson and wife Tammy and Linda Diane Mulkey and husband Franklin; sisters, Mary Pittman and Lucille Craine; grandchildren, Scottie (Cher), Robbie (Michele), Ronnie (Lynda), Candace, Patrick, John David and Aubrey; great-grandchildren, Riley, Cooper, Megan (Brandon), Christian, Dyani, Rainey, Logan, Bryson, Morgan, Gentry and Addison; great-great-grandchild, Conner; numerous other family members and many caring friends.
