Miriam "Don" Donald Evans

Miriam Donald Evans, 82, of Phenix City, AL passed away, Thursday, August 6, 2015 in Columbus, GA.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, August 10, 2015 at Ladonia Baptist Church with visitation one hour before. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Don was born November 11, 1932 in Phenix City, AL to the late Miriam B. Evans and Kathleen Evans. He served in the US Army during the Korean war and retired from Civil Service at Ft. Benning. He loved his family and enjoyed spending evening with his friends. Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters, Carol and Shirley.

He is survived by his children, John Larry Riddle (Kathy), Jeffery Keith Riddle (Jackie), Mitzie Dawn Riddle, Becky Leigh Kennedy and Angela Kathleen Fuller (Tony Fowler); 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews other extended family and friends.
