Miriam Johnson Lamb, 84, of Phenix City, AL died Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at Canterbury Health Facility.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Monday, July 13, 2020 at Vance Brooks Funeral Home in Phenix City, AL. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Lamb was born August 3, 1935 in Phenix City, AL, daughter of the late John William Johnson and Iona Young Johnson. She worked in the food service industry for most of her career.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Weeler Lloyd Lamb, a son, Richard Lamb, Sr., four sisters, Eva Baker, Olia Pittman, Dora Owens and Francis Murphy; five brothers, Delmer Johnson, William Johnson, Henry Johnson, John H. Johnson and Joseph Johnson and a grandson, Richard Lamb, Jr.
She is survived by two sisters, Maggie Johnston of Orlando, FL and Mary Ann Frith of Columbus, GA; three great-grandchildren, Lilly Lamb, Elizabeth Lamb and Richard Lamb; a granddaughter-in-law, Chelsea Lamb; several other extended family and caring friends.
