Morris D. Graham, 62, of Phenix City, AL passed away on Tuesday evening, May 30, 2023, at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, GA.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Monday morning, June 5, 2023, at Lakeview Memory Gardens in Phenix City. The family will receive friends at the graveside service.
Morris was born September 4, 1960, in Phenix City, AL, son of the late Morris Douglas Graham and Mary Nell Coker Riley. He had worked in the textile industry with Swift Textiles for many years. He enjoyed all the University of Alabama sports, especially the Alabama Crimson Tide. He loved fishing and the outdoors, classic cars, watching western movies on TV, and spending time with his pet dogs, Pearl, Abbey, and Candy. He liked kidding and giving everyone a hard time, but he never met a stranger. He loved people and especially all his family. He was a Christian by faith.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Charles “Ralph” Riley who loved and raised him as his own son.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 38 years, Tracy G. Linthicum Graham of Phenix City, AL; one son, James Graham and wife Whitney of Columbus, GA; two sisters, Sharon Joy Lee of Phenix City, AL, and Deborah Staton and husband David of Smiths Station, AL; one little grandson on the way; several nieces, nephews, extended family members and many caring friends.
