Mr. Kenneth G. Daniel

Mr. Kenneth “Kenny” G. Daniel, 70, of Phenix City, AL passed away Monday, December 4, 2023 at his home.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Friday, December 8, 2023 at Vance Brooks Funeral Home in Phenix City, AL.  The family will receive friends Friday afternoon from 1:00 until 2:00 pm, one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home

Mr. Daniel was born in Phenix City, AL, son of the late William B. Daniel, Sr. and Eva Jamieson Daniel. He grew up in Columbus, GA and graduated from Baker High School in 1971.  He was employed by several companies in the Columbus and Phenix City area, including Columbus Water Works, W. C. Bradley for 28 years and finally retired from Vectorply in Phenix City in 2021.  Kenny could be frequently found around local ponds, lakes and rivers with a rod and reel in his hand and Melissa by his side.  His favorite fishing spot was St. George Island, FL, where he spent many wonderful days soaking in the sun and enjoying his catch.  When not on the river bank, he spent time restoring his 1991 Camaro.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Gabe Daniel and a brother, William B. Daniel, Jr.

Mr. Daniel is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Melissa Leddon Daniel of Phenix City, AL; a daughter, Ashley Daniel of Phenix City, AL; a granddaughter, Savannah Daniel of Phenix City, AL; a sister, Patsy Daniel of Cumming, GA; as well as extended family and friends.
