Mrs. Robbie Boone Westmoreland

Robbie Boone Westmoreland, 82, of Smiths Station, AL died peacefully at her home, on Wednesday, May 29, 2024.

 A Private Graveside Services will be on Friday, May 31, 2024 at Lakeview Memory Gardens according to Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL. The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM until 2:30 PM  (EST) at the funeral home on Friday. 

Mrs. Westmoreland was born August 20, 1941 in Celina, TN daughter of the late Hubert “Buck” Boone and Velma Key Boone. She had retired from Columbus Carpet Mills after many years of committed service. Mrs. Westmoreland enjoyed fishing, shopping for shoes and riding go-carts really fast. Alabama Football and the fall football season was her favorite time of the year. This was just one more good “excuse” to be with her family and friends. She loved her family and never grew tired of being with them. We will remember her as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and mother-in-law.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Velma Key Boone, and a son, Jeffery Lane Westmoreland.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Hubert C. “Bulldog”  Westmoreland, Smiths Station, AL; two sons, Steve Westmoreland (Julie) of Phenix City, AL and Mark Westmoreland ( Piapawadee “Dee”) of Opelika, AL; five sisters, Christine Dawson, Katherine White (Aaron), Ruth Trobaugh (Roy), and Lori Fluty (Anthony); one brother, Bobby Boone (Becky); two grandchildren, Kelly Martin (Ronald “Cecil”)  and Ryan Westmoreland (Candice); six great-grandchildren, Brody and Blakely Martin, Micah and Claire Westmoreland, Anthony Sepontdiwat and Erica Duley; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
