Ms. Patricia Gail Christian

Patricia Gail Christian, 73, of Columbus, GA passed away on Thursday December 28, 2023, at St. Francis Hospital. A graveside service will be held at Parkhill Cemetery 4048 Macon Road, Columbus, GA on Friday, January 5, 2024, beginning at 3:00 pm EST with Reverand Fred Kruger officiating. The family will receive friends Friday, January 5, 2024, at Vance Brooks Funeral Home 4048 Macon Road Columbus, starting at 1:30 P.M EST until 2:30 pm EST.

Patricia was born on January 30,1950, in Columbus, Georgia to the late Gordan Jones Christian and Dorothy Mae Brown Christian. Patricia loved flowers and was known for crafting, as well as making the best egg rolls. Patricia loved dogs, NASCAR races and going to East Alabama Motor Speedway. She also loved spending time with her children and granddaughters.

She will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by those who knew her.

Other than her parents, Patricia is preceded in death by her son Chris Brown.

Patricia is survived by her daughter, Melanie Fussell, of Columbus, Georgia; son Jason Fussell and his wife Amanda of Fortson, Georgia; sister Susan Shavers and her husband Buddy of Waco, Texas; Grandchildren Whitley, Carley, Brantley, Charley Jane, and Emily Fussell; nephew Chuck Shavers; niece Kim Granger; and many other family and friends.
