Nancy Anne Charo

Nancy Anne Robinson Charo, 66, of Smiths Station, AL passed away on Monday, July 3, 2017 in the comfort of her home.

Nancy was born August 9, 1950 in Columbus, GA to the late Bartow Jefferson Robinson and Annie Laura Wiggins Bush.  She was a retired nurse who spent her life caring for people and taking in anyone who was in need. Nancy loved her family dearly and enjoyed arts & crafts and interior design. She was a Christian by faith.  Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Daniel Scott Schofield and a brother, Arnold Robinson.

She is survived by her children, Timothy Steven Schofield and wife Shelby, Richard Lavon Gray and wife Ramona, Catherine Louise Turkovitz and husband Chris, and one brother, Bruce Robinson and wife Becky; seven grandchildren, Timothy Blain Schofield and wife Sam, Mollie Anne Thies and husband Chris, Chelsea Dawn Schofield, Joseph Lee Gray and wife Autumn, Chloe Ann Schofield, Tristan Drake Asa Turkovitz and Tandy De’Lane Anne Turkovitz and two precious great grandchildren, Alyanne Marie Gray and Annalyne Marie Gray.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at Vance Memorial Chapel in Phenix City from 4:00-6:00 pm. Her family will hold a private memorial ceremony.  Online condolences may be shared at www.vancememorialchapel.net
