Nancy Blanton Cobb

Nancy Blanton Cobb of Smith Station, AL, passed away Wednesday morning, May 25, 2016, at Columbus Hospice.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am EST, on Friday, May 27, 2016, at Lakeview Memory Gardens.

She was a member of Evangel Temple. Nancy was retired from Columbus Ledger Enquirer and Columbus State University.

She is survived by her son, Rodger Blanton (Renee), daughter Wendy Kroll (Byron), sister, Nedra Scott, brother Larry Rodgers (Judy), 3 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and caretaker/friend, Gracie.

She was preceded in death by her husband Nathan Cobb, first husband Gene Blanton, her father Wilson Rodgers and mother Louise Weaver Rodgers.
