Nancy Deborah Brooks Ray, 64, of Phenix City, AL passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at the Columbus Hospice House in Columbus, GA.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am EST, on Monday October 30, 2017 at Vance Memorial Chapel.  Interment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends Monday from 10:00 to 11:00 am, one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Ray was born on February 25, 1953 in Phenix City, AL daughter of the late William “Bill” Brooks and Myrtle Widgeon Brooks.  She spent her life working in the baking industry and owned a cottage kitchen business, Nancy’s Sweet Sensations.

She is survived by her loving husband Ronald Ray of Phenix City, AL; daughter, Beth Pate and husband Randy of Columbus, GA; brother, William “Butch” Brooks of Phenix City, AL; grandchildren, Megan Holmes Dalafave and husband Jonathan and Emily Holmes; a niece, a nephew, several cousins, other extended family members and many caring friends.
