Nancy Pullen, 83, of Salem, AL died peacefully at her home on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, while under the care of Enhabit Hospice.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, November 05, 2024, at 11:00 AM (EST) in the Chapel of Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL with Rev. Ricky Ward officiating. Interment will follow in Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the funeral hour on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Pullen was born July 09, 1941, in Marshall, TX, daughter of the late William Presley Bumpass and Elba Robertson Meyers. She had retired from D. Hal Averett Contractors as a Secretary after many years of service. She enjoyed traveling with her husband all over the place. At home Mrs. Pullen found pleasure in working in her yard keeping in neat and enjoying its beauty. She also enjoyed hosting events for family and friends. Mrs. Pullen was also an avid supporter of Semper K9, an organization that connects veterans with dogs to help each other heal.
We will miss her so much, but the fond memories are forever to be cherished in our hearts.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Wyndel Pullen, Salem, AL; two children, Katherine Finley (Ray), Mount Enterprise, TX and William Wood (Debbie) Overton, TX; two sisters, Particia Hamilton, Glenn Rose, TX and Elsie McKay, Kaplan, TX; seven grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and friends.
