Mrs. Nancy “Libby” Stablum

Nancy “Libby” Stablum, 84, of Columbus, GA died Friday April 16, 2021 at her daughter’s residence.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Monday April 19, 2021 at Parkhill Cemetery with Reverend Jerry Speer officiating. A Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 PM at Vance Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Road Columbus, GA.
Mrs. Stablum was born March 22, 1937 in McBee, SC to the late Samuel C. Brown and Jewel Smith Brown. She was a devoted wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, John “Big John” Stablum, sister, Geraldine Lewis, and brother, Walter E. Brown. She was a member of the Lady’s Clown unit at the Ft. Benning Shrine Club when her husband was a member of the Clown Unit. Libby was employed at Sunshine Biscuit for 23 years and she volunteered at the St. Francis Hospital Gift Shop.
Survivors include her daughter, DeAnne Dansby of Columbus, GA, son, Wayne Stablum of Columbus, GA, sisters, Judy Whitley of Columbus, GA, Brenda Villagas of Columbus, GA, and Linda Filichia of Orlando, FL, grandchildren, Nicole Watson (Matt), Bruce Dansby, Jr. (Samantha), and Tamara Bollinger (Garrett), great grandchildren, Eli Watson, Micah Watson, Noah Watson, and Eve Bollinger, and several nieces and nephews.
