Nita Rosso

Nita Fuller Rosso, 92, of Phenix City, AL passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at her residence.

 A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm EST Monday, February 25, 2019 at Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL with Rev. Wayne Scarborough officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 4:00 to 6:00 pm EST at Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL.

Mrs. Rosso was born February 5, 1927 in Columbus, GA, daughter of the late William Henry Fuller and Alberta Betts Fuller.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed working in her yard, gardening and just being outdoors.  Additionally, Mrs. Rosso loved gospel singing and spending time with her family.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of almost 70 years, Mack Rosso; a sister, Ethel Joyce Jimmerson, a brother, William Bryant Fuller and a daughter-in-law, Susan Rosso.

Mrs. Rosso is survived by her two sons, Roy Rosso and Tony Rosso and wife Kathy, all of Phenix City, AL; grandchildren, Howard Rosso (Alania), Brandon Rosso Bentley (Jack), Jason Hall Rosso (Kathy), Robert May and Randy May; great-grandchildren, Brittany Rosso, Kayla Rosso Boyer (Brandon), Max Rosso, Nicholas Bentley, Reagan Bentley, Ransom May and Miller May; great-great-grandchildren, Elena Myhand and Hadley Myhand, who was born on her birthday; several extended family and caring friends.
