Norma Florence Hogan

Norma Florence Percer Hogan, 72, of Phenix City, AL passed away peacefully Friday afternoon, March 4, 2016 in the comfort of her home. 

A celebration of life memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. ET Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at United Baptist Church in Phenix City with Rev. Bobby Watford officiating.

Norma was born August 20, 1943 in Jefferson County, AL and was the daughter of the late Luke Long and Ida Marie Simpson Long.  She was retired from the Medical Center with 18 years of service and a member of United Baptist Church in Phenix City.  She loved listening to the Gaithers' Gospel and cherished the spiritual blessing she received from their many songs.  She enjoyed reading, movies, spending time with her daughter, and her pet dogs.

She is survived by her only daughter, Wendy Hogan, cousins, Patricia Dabbs, Charles, Johnny, Mike, Willie, and Ralph Allgood, a host of friends, and her pet dogs, Sweet Pea, Freckles, Jack, and Bella.  Online condolences may be made at www.vancememorialchapel.net.
