O'Dean Bragg Thomas

O’Dean Bragg Thomas, 92, of Phenix City, AL, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 23, 2015.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am EDT, on Saturday, September 26, 2015, at Vance Memorial Chapel with Reverend Rob Goodman officiating. Interment will be held at Lakeview Memory Gardens and the family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Thomas was born in Coffee County, AL the daughter of the late Fletcher and Monroe Bragg. She was married to her beloved husband, Roland Thomas for 55 years and they lived in Phenix City, AL. O’Dean was a member of Summerville Baptist Church since 1968. She was active in Kay Y’s and Lady’s Sunday School class. She was a loving devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, her son, Gene Thomas, one sister and four brothers.

She is survived by her sons, Scottie Thomas, wife Devy of Smiths Station, AL and Stan Thomas, wife Ruthie of Salem, AL; two grandsons, Dusty Thomas of Fortson, GA and Spencer Thomas of Troy, AL; several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
