Mrs. Oknan Choe Rasa, 83, of Phenix City, AL passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at her home.

A graveside service will be held 10:00 am Monday, February 7, 2022, at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery with Rev. Mike Turner officiating, according to Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL.

Mrs. Rasa was born November 22, 1938 in Seoul, Korea, daughter of the late Tae Jip Choe and Up Dong Park.  She was a homemaker, who enjoyed cooking, baking and was a master at knitting.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, George Rasa and two brothers.

She is survived by a sister and two brothers, who live in Korea; a special niece, Kristina Park of New York; close friends, Johnnie Gideon and Myong Tassoni (Richard) all of Phenix City, AL and Martha Greathouse of Salem, AL; as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.
